What the Fart?!!!

I noticed that whenever Axel heard a farting sound ...either natural (ehem, ehem) or otherwise, he would turn around and sniff his butt.

So to make sure, I conducted an experiment using a nearly empty easy squeeze sweetener bottle. See what I concluded:

(Note: The sound seemed to lag in the video. I wondered why...any tips?)
